When Blackberry came into market ,it is seen as an status object more than a phone. Its has its unique feature,Its own in build software and server. BBM is used worldwide and used to communicate across the world. Its purely platform dependent. When I phone took the market ,Blackberry lost itself in the Status front. When whats up took market , BBM lost itself in the communication front.
Altogether it lost itself in Apps front also. Most of the apps were build for Android and I-OS. blackberry was altogether forgotten. Even though most Major cause of the decline is android and I OS market, Platform is considered as disadvantage in technical front. Any Technology who has dependency has not long ruled ,its applicable to I Phone too.
