Sai Baba and Vallalar

Sai Baba and Vallalar

Yesterday I started my Spiritual journey towards Shirdi . I was accompined by my A.P Colleague who atlast turned out as my perfect guide . Visited Shirdi worshipped Sai Baba . When i went across temple, slowly my thoughts travelled towards my Native . My native lies 3 Km away from Vadalur , a small town known for Ramalinga adihalar popularly known by his de facto name Vallalar. Both Sai Baba and vallalar insisted on donation for poor's. Mainly both struggled to abolish hunger.
When i learned about Sai Baba's Dhuni(Sacred fire) which is still kept alive ,my mind correlated Dhuni with Jothi(Sacred Fire) initiated by Vallalar to cook food for poor. To my astonishment both used water to fuel their lamps. I was able to remember a book namely Manithan Maa Manithanga written by Na.Magalingam regarding immortal human life. Its 'Thought that initiates our action, its action which results in further thoughts,Both thought and action are fueled and controled by Patience. Both Sai baba and Vallalar kept their patiance which made them immortal.

After Shiridi we started towards sanisinganpur to worship sani bahavan. Our journey lasted for couple of hours through rural Maharastra.its very true mother India live in her Villages. Worshiped Sani dev .To my astonishment i meet actor commedian Mr.Vivek with his counterpart commedian (popularry know for his awaas anjinchi commedy).Had couple of goodwill conversation and departed.

Next we started towards trimbakeshwar temple which is located 40 km away from Nasik. trimbakeshwar is one of the 12 jothilingas . Till my visit there , I belived all lingas have protrusion from the base .But lingam at trimbakeshwar have three lingam which lie low from the base surface. Really had my good time .Have a trip ,you will enjoy.

Anne Frank & Education In India

For entire Last week i was reading 'Diary of young girl' , an emotional and loveable diary written by Anne Frank during her hideout days(on the tough part she died at end of WW2) . When I navigate through the pages I was able to smell increasing maturity level of her writing far ahead of her age(14 years). If she can write to such an extent then it is obvious that she had read more books too.Through out her writing she has emphasized about reading books and her crush towards book.

I thought about myself . how many books i might have read by 14 ,as that of anna Frank read in 1944 ? None!!!!! I have not even opened my innings then. As far as I remember Schools days are all about ranks and marks. No one cared about knowledge one possess.

As for me education is all about tuning of mind .To tune ones mind , one has to read. The more they read(Learn) the more is the tuning.

Education in India is becoming more and more service oriented. Its all like you get an degree , you earn ,you pay me the Tax. This is an alarming situation where an whole younger generation is build without moral vales ,culture , and ethics. Indian government has to encourage reading more books which are rich in values and knowledge by altering school syllabus.Modern syllabi has to be framed in such a way it has to increase appetite for knowledge and not for marks.

I still remember an saying in Tamil 'Padi....Padi...Padi.....athu unadu vetri padi'.I believe I read it in a book.
